Update from Shalom Winter Workshop

At the Shalom Winter Workshop yesterday, we learned that our stake will camp in the Wilderness Area this year. We will leave Provo Tuesday afternoon and return Saturday afternoon.

Theme Recommendations due Jan. 27th

Each ward is to submit their recommendation for a camp theme, two sub-themes and the reasons why to Cassy Budd (cassybudd@byu.edu) by Sunday, January 27th. The eight camp theme recommendations will then be sent out to all the wards for review. A meeting will then be held on Wednesday, February 6th at 8:15 pm in the stake high council room when a final recommendation will be made. Invited to this meeting are ONE YCL from each ward, ward camp directors and ward presidents. Please don't forget to explain the reasons behind your recommendation--this will help us know what the YW need. This will also help prepare the ONE YCL who comes to the meeting, because she will be asked to share those reasons.
