We are getting close!

Two Things...

  • We just found out that Heber Valley Camp would like to have a quick meeting with the Stake Leaders, and one leader from each ward at 7am on Monday morning as we arrive.  Please let me know who will be representing your ward at this meeting, or if you have any concerns.
  • Each ward should have camp music books that were made by the stake several years ago.  Please bring them!

It's an Emergency!

Here is the info copied straight from the Heber Valley Guidelines!

For emergency messages to young women and leaders attending Heber Valley Camp, the stake president or bishop should be contacted first and then he or one of his counselors should call and leave the message with one of the missionaries at the camp. Camp phone numbers are 801-404-9243(8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) or 801-404-1886 (after hours).

Thank you for being patient with my weaknesses!

Do You Want To Make a Lanyard?

Here is the Lanyard Link.  Feel Free to use any or all of it.  The stake will provide lanyards for all of the laurels.  You may want to add your own ward's songs and cheers. FYI, we are hoping that our covers will be a black clock on teal paper, but if not, it will be a teal clock on white paper.  You can match us, or do whatever makes you happy!

  4. Your Brave day colors

Biffy Cleaning time!

Each restroom will need to be checked twice daily for needed supplies and cleaned at least once daily.  All cleaning supplies are provided by Heber Valley Camp.

Campsites 1, 2 and 4 have their own biffy.  The cleaning schedule can be worked out between the two wards that share the site.

  • Site 1 (12th/22nd)
  • Site 2 (8th/3rd)
  • Site 4 (5th/21st)

Campsites 5 and 6 will share a restroom. That puts three wards in the cleaning rotation.

  • Monday PM: PV4
  • Tuesday AM: RC
  • Tuesday PM: 11th
  • Wednesday AM: PV4
  • Wednesday PM: RC
  • Thursday AM: 11th
  • Thursday PM: PV4

Friday AM will depend upon other cleaning assignments

Path of Righteousness

  • This year we are changing up the traditional "Path of Righteousness". Instead of the 6th years coming around to each ward, the girls are creating a literal path, lined with the their "Expressions of Christ".
  • The 6th years (seniors this coming school year) have been invited to ponder their feelings about the Savior and display it in some way.  This can be a written testimony, poem, painting, song, whatever they wish to do.
  • 3 YCL's in the Be Strong group have split the list of girls and should have contacted them.  Please encourage your 6th year girls to let Kerri, Zoe or Rachael know if they would like us to take their display to camp for them, and if they need a specific way to display it. They will be collecting the displays asap.

One more thing for today

  • The Stake will be making lanyards for the YCL's with the schedule, their cheers, etc.  We will be sending you copies of the pertinent information if you would like to create them for your own wards.  Not necessary, but if you were wondering, its coming within the week!
