Odds and Ends

Before Camp

  • Sunday, June 2nd 7pm: YCL meeting.

  • Wednesday, June 12th 7pm: Camp kickoff for YW, parents and leaders.

  • Saturday, June 15th 10am: Stop the Bleed training.  This is for all YCL's and one adult leader from each ward.  This is a course that we will participate in at camp.  Those trained at this meeting will help at camp.

  • ASAP: We are still waiting for a few of you to let us know what song your ward will be singing at shining trees.

At Camp

  • The stake will have 15 ukuleles and lots of board games that will be available for you to use during ward time.

  • Hopefully you all saw the text about the schedule change.  The link to the right will get you to the latest version.

  • Tuesday night at camp we will be enjoying skits performed by your wards! Each ward will be given a bag of items to be used as props in your skits, as well as some other fun requirements.  We just wanted to give you some warning in case you want to leave a few minutes to prepare that day.  Otherwise, impromptu works too!

  • Please let your lunch helpers know to be there 1/2-2 hours before meal time. (see schedule for meal time).

Just under four weeks to go!

The Countdown Keeps Counting!

Six Weeks To Go!

We hope you all had a chance to go to the open house last weekend and see the beautiful place that we get to enjoy next month.  It really is special.

Items of Business...

  •  You have until May 27 (Memorial Day, so it is easy to remember) to schedule a presentation with the missionaries during camp. The presentations are "All Things Bright and Beautiful," "O Woman, Great is Thy Faith," and "I Feel My Savior's Love." Please let Rikki or Diane know ASAP if you would like to schedule one.

  • Please let Trish Nabrotzky or any of the YW presidency know what song your ward will be singing for Shining Trees.

  • We need all T-shirt sizes by the end of the week! (May 17)

  • PRETTY PLEASE go to this Google doc and put in the appropriate information. We need a list of all late comers to camp, any one coming to pick someone up, as well as your food helpers, and the YW leaders who will be helping with the challenge course and riding the bus.

Lovin' Lunch

Several wards have submitted a request for their preferred lunch helper day; however, we still haven't heard from several wards. Please go to this link and fill in

  1. the ward YW leaders helping with your Challenge Course (remember they will need to be at camp for the Monday meeting at 12:30 as well as on your assigned CC day).
  2. the YW leader(s) who will be riding the bus to camp with your girls.
  3. the ward members helping during stake lunch on your assigned day.
NEXT, text or email a member of the Stake YW Presidency or a Stake camp leader and let us know if you prefer a particular day to help with lunch. Days are first come, first served and Tuesday and Wednesday are spoken for.

Please let us know the names of your lunch helpers ASAP. President Peterson would like us to turn those names in to be approved by their bishops.
